The media held a press conference today with the West Wing amid the heated rivalry with the Presidential Cabinet. During the conference, Karoline Leavitt, the White House Press Secretary, entered and fought with the West Wing. Presidential Candidate Shapiro retaliated with his own statement, arguing against Leavitt's seemingly baseless claim about the “fake news” surrounding Trump.

Since the first day of the Conference, there has been tension between PresCab and the West Wing building. The Presidential Cabinet has gone in with force and attacks, and the West Wing has tried to show their strength through love and peace. The PresCab has been creating posters and hanging them up all around the West Wing since that first day. Now, the West Wing is retaliating by making posters of their own.

During our press conference, Karoline Leavitt came in blazing, claiming the Presidential Cabinet has nothing to hide and that the Media and West Wing have been spreading “fake news”. Democratic Presidential candidate Josh Shapiro, had a quick clapback that has echoed throughout the West Wing.

Before Karoline Leavitt barged in, The media had the opportunity to ask the main goals and thoughts of the West Wing. West Wing wants clear reform in emergency powers, and aims to “lock up” President Trump. We asked about what they want to achieve with their protests; they emphasized that they are not scared of the Presidential Cabinet and that they will use love and not hate.

Nonetheless, amidst the tension between the Presidential Cabinet and the West Wing, Presidential Candidate Shapiro and fellow Democratic representatives remained resilient and promised the American people to continue to represent their core ideologies: love over hate and protecting democracy from the current Republican administration.

A DNC Staffer stated, “Josh Shapiro stood his ground. We're not scared of the Republicans or Trump.”
